disrespect.
no regrets.
bomb this track.
it's the worst feeling in the world.
when you get all excited for something, only to be let down in the end.
today i wanted a burrito from chipotle.
i wanted one since about 10 this morning, when ayanna asked if we knew anywhere that delivered to us.
around 6 i called my father and told him what to get.
a beef burrito with corn and rice. i could hear his pen scratch on the paper as he wrote it down, then took my mothers and sisters orders.
over a long, painful hour later, he arrived with the food.
i was disappointed not to see that foiled sphere anywhere.
i ran outside, "dad, did you get me a burrito?"
"oh sorry, i got you a burrito bowl."
what exactly is a burrito bowl? i do not understand them. why not just wrap everything in that yummy shell thingie, rather than put it in a bowl? and why call it a burrito bowl? it's not a burrito unless it's wrapped. i do not see the point of them, and i have never had one in my life, so why get one for me?
and it had salsa.
i did not ask for salsa.
my night had been ruined. my mom laughed at me, for my sister and i have been laughing at her for years when my dad did that to her. we would say that it was "no big deal." and to "get over it."
but never have we had this happen to us.
it's awful. you get yourself all excited and pumped up,
only to be let down.
i was so sad that my mom promised to take me to chipotle before or after my bball game tomorrow and make it right, and get me my beef burrito with corn and rice.
i'm excited.
